NIGO is doing it again, but this time, it’s a whole lot different than A Bathing Ape. Nigo has embarked on his new brand, HUMAN MADE- started in 2011, which emphasizes subtleness, craftsmanship, and the vintage look.  The creator of BAPE has moved far from his once familiar realm of bright colors, patent leather, and camouflage. This is truly artistic work that he’s doing, and although I couldn’t pull off the look personally, I can’t help but respect what he’s trying to do with the whole bringing back the lost art of craftsmanship and vintage-inspired designs. Unlike TISA, this is actually a brand that still stems from CREATIVITY, not just copying old looks and literally making them your own with a little change here & there. These clothes look like they are really from the 70s & 80s, but they were made this year or last year by people who CARE about the clothing and how it all comes together, and more importantly, stays together. Well done, Nigo.
